Re: Alex Holm- Desire (demo)

Its pretty good! Like the piano .. But the mix is distorting horribly, thats the only 'criticism' I have

Re: Alex Holm- Desire (demo)

Re: Alex Holm- Desire (demo)

It is distorting to my ears ... You can hear it in the transients .. Anyway, it's not that important, the track is cool anyways

Re: Alex Holm- Desire (demo)

This is a cool track. At every kick I can hear extreme limiting. Let the mix flow a bit more natural and this is very good.

Re: Alex Holm- Desire (demo)

The basics are there for a real good track. Think the lead synth is a bit too much out there, maybe tone it down and put some LFO in there for extra varation. Or get rid of it altogether?

Shhrree....no good track really.

Re: Alex Holm- Desire (demo)

bravo sleek

Re: Alex Holm- Desire (demo)

Naw you can make good with the gear you have. Just record it into a computer and use free vst's to eq and edit the wav files. A 100Hz Notch on a Parametric VST eq for example is a sweet spot for controlling an over powering kick drum. The better you get with EQ in the end you don't need to squash so much with those Multi-Limiters for mastering.

You do with what you have.
