Topic: Hong Kong

Is there anything cool to do in Hong Kong other than eat crazy food and go to Victoria Peak?

Is there a worthwhile music scene there? Any good clubs or cool places to check out? One ZYX record I have mentions a distributor located in HK, but I doubt they are still around.

Considering Australia too since it is next door.

Re: Hong Kong

yes ZYX and Italo must have been big there, but all you see is the big schlager stuff Fancy/Laszlo/Twins etc
looking for records?  head straight to Queen Victoria st.
from the main station walk out towards the famous escaletors, but don't go on, take the short ones to the left,
when coming down to street level do a quick left, and it's the street on your right.
the best shops are at number 3, 8!! and 11
don't expect too much & check them manga soundtracks section if you have the time

Re: Hong Kong

Does anyone have some real info about this city? I already found out where most recordshops are (http://www.discogs.com/groups/topic/88903) But I'm also looking for interesting stores, clubs, exhibitions, etc. Any help?

Re: Hong Kong

Hey robots. I'm visiting Hong Kong with my family. Anything you all would recommend doing/visiting?
