when I can't pay my outstanding bills and maybe not even my next months rent because of my psycho bitch ex landlord. She will only communicate in monologue by screaming at me down the phone. She said she would today give us back two thirds of our deposit (£1000 instead of £1500) because of a crack in the sink which was there when we moved in. To be honest I don't care anymore I don't want to have to take this to court, I just want to be able to pay my bills. Things are not looking good here.

that sucks, i had a total bitch of a landlord at the last flat that i rented too. she also deducted a portion of our deposit when we moved out, but it wasn't as hefty as 500 quid. good luck with it man...
if you didnt note it anywhere ie photos or notes on initial inspection, you have no evidence from the start. you can call and try to reason with her but after that you are fucked without evidence. take 1000. i did a similar thing with a builder he owed me 2500 offered me 500 i didnt take it and now i have zilch.
gotta suck it up to corporate board who have emotional issues and it clouds there professionalism
