^ I remember reading about some kid attempting that shortly after Thomas only to break his leg and ankle. Can't find the article but iirc it was pretty graphic, like protruding fibula etc

I'd forgotten about Arto, he was just starting to get coverage around the time I stopped but remember him doing incredible things.
Arto, Rick McCrank(sp?), and Ali Boulala were the younger kids coming in, going fast, big and technical. All of them bad ass.

I remember watching this french kid, Jean Baptiste Gillet.....he's even more mind-blowing now.
