Topic: Doepfer MCV-4 Tuning?

I'm having a bit of bother tuning my Doepfer MCV4 to a SCI Pro One.
Basically, everything is set up as it should be and the MIDI messages are transmitting to the Pro One all good. However, playing a C produces a B from the Pro One, D plays a C# and so on. I've opened up the MCV4 and managed to get it a little closer but it's still way out. Pro One is just back from the tech and is perfectly calibrated so not really sure what's happening?

Re: Doepfer MCV-4 Tuning?

Is your Pro-One mod wheel at zero? I'd sometimes get that with the Pro-One, it was detuned with the wheel. The MCV-4 has a scaling pot inside, maybe that's not at 1v/oct?

tony,

yeah, the pro one is sitting as it should be and I opened the MCV4 and adjusted the trim pot - it edged ever closer to the sweet spot but i still can't get it right! very frustrating!
