Topic: Noodles, bits and some acid
I finally uploaded a bunch of stuff to soundcloud, mostly dating back to January of this year. These are some highlights with some patch notes on few of them. These are recorded in one take to pro-tools. I don't get on with computers or plug-ins all that well.
Some acid-
Here's a fairly paranoid one I did in March. It's all 909 & 303 with a little general-midi-string-drone in the background, processed through a doepfer a-188-1 and a digitech rds unit, both sequenced by the 303. The processed bits are occasionally looped with another rds unit, triggered via the modular, the loops engaged by an Intellijel flip-flop:

This one sounds to me a bit LFO-ish. I think I forgot to tell anyone when I uploaded it:

And some modular noodles and bits-
Here's one from a couple weeks ago. The main control voltages come from a noisering processed through a doepfer bbd; the changes in the sequence come from me twiddling the doepfer's input gain, feedback and mix knobs:

The sound on this is actually my europified jp6, no modular sounds. The keyboard is split. One half is controlled from a Noisering/osc via a Boss Dr.5 pitch input, the other half is a jp6 arp. The arp starts it, the noisering sequence ends it:

A modular patch, with some 101 and 909 backing beat. This is my autechre-chiastic-slide-era-funk imitation:

I think this one may take place underwater:

And finally a couple of drone-y pieces of business- the first one is a tribute to Neil Young; the other is not.

Thanks for checking this stuff out, dawgz!
