Over mezelf
Het Verhaal begon allemaal in 1988, in een periode waarin AcidHouse erg populair was. Later opgroeiende in een periode van house en trance werd de stijl van Massimo Mephisto al voor een deel gevormd. Op 13 jarige leeftijd kwam de interesse voor het DJ'en er bij Massimo . Toch kwam het verhaal van Massimo Mephisto pas tot leven toen hij de leeftijd van 17 jaar had bereikt . Algauw werd er opgemerkt dat Massimo Mephisto een heel aparte stijl had (heeft) en werd hij op verschillende locale feesten gevraagd. Zijn aparte stijl werd opgemerkt en hij werd gevraagd voor een gastoptrede te komen doen in de backstage van de beroemde club La Rocca, Het was vanaf dat moment dat hij door verschillende andere organisatoren en dj's werd opgemerkt, en voor verschillende party's over heel het land werd gevraagd . Hij is nu nog geen 3 jaar bezig met het DJ'en en blijft met zijn combinatie van Techhouse/Progressive House/MinimalTechno en Deep House groeien. Hij mocht al draaien voor en na DJ's als Monica Electronica, Dave Lambert, Sigi, Brian-V, Beluxx & Blokland, Jackattack & Vertigo,Stijn,Nico,Chiq,Niko Charidis,Tofke,... en draaide al setjes in clubs als: La Rocca(Lier) ,Illusion(Lier), Nanno Sur L'o (Antwerp), Rumba & Co (Leuven), Hangar 26/De Kaai (Antwerp), Café Capital (Antwerp) . Met andere woorden deze Young Talent is pas 20 geworden maar is niet te stoppen.

For me it seems the sun, or at least a very bright light is shining into people's faces in that pic. I'd wear shades in that light.

And I dunno how most of you define a hipster. If it's doing your own shit no matter what people think, looking wacky or being weird, i'd say a lot of us are hipsters.
If it means people who wear tight jeans and neon wayfearers because it's "hip", then it's like being a douchebag without steroids.

And im not even in the plastikman armada   never been a big fan of hawtin's stuff, but i still respect the dude.

that's a pretty accurate definition hiefetz. You can find that kind of behaviour everywhere. I have to make looped mixes from time to time for exhibitions (photography, paintings, sculptures etc)so I've been introduced to the - let's use a mean word - arty farty community. Well, the only thing - most of them - do is bashing other people's work, despise the "normal" people etc while they don't realize that they are part of a very stereotype "kind" of people too because they all admire the same artists, they all wear the same type of clothes, they all read the same books etc etc. The result is that the last years I have never visited any of these exhibitions anymore, I don't give a shit what they do with the mixes I give and which work they expose. Not to mention they always despise the "normal" people for not being openminded. Well I will tell you this: with a couple of friends I've been trying to put up some sort of artistical platform (which means supported by the city of Gent and the other artistical associations)for people who are working with electronic music. You have no idea how conservative and stubborn these people still are in 2011 towards this music. Pure facist elitarism.

Raving George is the new hot in Belgium these days. She doesn't look like a bimbo or douchebagette but she does play crap music, turns up in douchebag TV programmes, produces crap music and plays on crap events. She's from Gent (Evergem)so somehow I like her...
