Charlie started doing stand up after he was already famous and at around 40 or so years old, he's relatively new to stand up comedy still. he tends to have a more a story telling style. based on who his brother is and his inexperience i think he's alright. he never got the chance to do a bunch of dead end open mics or shitty rooms which can really be a big factor in turning the famous comics into who they become. that stuff toughens them up and sharpens comedian's wits. give Charlie a few more years if he keeps doing stand up and he'll be a lot better.
