Breaking Bad is awesome. I just started watching it last week too.
@techni and kuczera - you guys won't regret it! currently one of the best shows and maybe one of the best shows ever at least in my opinion.
here's wat i've seen lately...
Hangover II - not funny.
Drive - Was OK. Some cool parts and a few good songs but lacking in more than a few areas.
Princess Mononoke - Don't know what took me so long to see this classic. Was a good movie but didn't make my all time top favorite animes. Recommended.
Beginners - Thought it was going to be a good one and especially cause i love Melaine Laurent (from Inglorious Bastards) but I was disappointed, wasn't feeling it all. Although it got great reviews on IMDB and several other places so may still want to check it out.
Crazy, Stupid, Love - I turned this on to put me to sleep but actually watched the whole thing and wasn't horrible but wasn't great at the same time, just kinda crazy and stupid.
just got this....watch tonite
ugh this looks freaky. any good?

The shock doctrine
Not for the faint of heart
After years of searching for the dvd (with Dutch subtitles)I finally found it! Only 2 JCVD dvd's to go now:

haha actually worth it
Surprisingly good! Well, as good as a movie like this can get.
Got these lined up for a sensory assault
This is an excellent but truly harrowing film based on true story from mid to late 90s serial killer in Australia. Hard to believe it is the director’s first. Some seriously brutal moments throughout and I left the cinema in a state of shock.
Collection of quality footage taken by some Swedish film/documentary makers at the time. Footage is pieced together with some powerful interviews and commentary. A very informative movie and one that I took a lot from. Definitely made me think that I need to school myself a little more on this.
The film looks at some key moments in America between 67-75 and focuses on a few central figures involved in the Black Power movement around that time. In particular Angela Davis and Stokley Carmichael both of whom come across very well on film.
There is also commentary from current artists such as Eryka Badhu and Talib Kweli which supports the footage well. It struck me from watching this film that although a lot has changed…40 years on, still a lot of the same issues exist.
