Slabs of the Tabernacle Summer Party @ The Big Joint

We are very happy to announce the 5th Slabs Summer Party.

This time round our guest is the Norwegian mixmaster DJ VLR. Wide reaching in his track selection, expect to hear anything from classic electro to obscure acid. His superb mixes are a testament to his broad knowledge of the best underground electronic music from the past three decades.

Because we really love the venue we have decided to once again return to The Big Joint. Although it is only a short taxi ride from the centre of town we will be running mini buses, details of which will be announced closer to the time.

We thought we'd make a proper weekend of it so have organised a pre-party on the Friday in not so far away Newcastle.

In order to get the club filled up early doors we will be running a shuttle bus down to the venue leaving from 'The 78' pub on 10–14 Kelvinhaugh Street (just off Argyle Street) between 9.30-11pm.

Or you could get a taxi.. or walk..

A City Centre after-party will also follow the night.

That was an absolute riot!.....i had a blast big_smile A bigger crowd than i was maybe expecting, great to see it soo busy. And VLR...what a dj, great record selection & he mixes like a demon. Hard rocking shit.
The unit was cracking fun too, nice to get the chance to play records with andrew, jasper & ean....

In conclusion....max fun, you all played a blinder...really great to see you all again. Till next time cool

Totally great party.

Excellent music from all involved and a cracking atmosphere, as ever.

Great fun had in both the Toon and Glasgee and great catching up with everyone.
