September's Magic Waves brings us the return of the legendary Bangkok Impact. Sami Liuski first unleashed his warm analogue electro-disco sound on the world from his cold Finnish homeland back in 2002 and has hammered out a series of classic releases since then on a variety of prestigious labels like Creme Organization, Viewlexx, Vynalogica, Lektroluv and Clone. As if that wasn't enough of a curriculum vitae Sami is also the man behind such other well-known and highly-distinctive underground projects as 8-Bit Rockers, Keyo Laboratories and Lolita Strap amongst many others. From the very beginning of Magic Waves back in 2006 Sami's music has been an indelible and vital part of the radio playlists and our DJ-mixes, and we were very happy indeed to have him play at the Summer Festival this year where some of you who managed to stay awake until the end may have seen him play. We're very happy to usher in the new season with the return of such a magnificent guest and we hope you'll join us on the night in losing our minds to his synthed-up and spaced-out magical musical madness!
