one of my needles always seem to gather a lot of dust playing just 1 record
the other one doesn't.

what's wrong?

they're both just a couple of months old

This happens when the needle is nearly over. I guess you have to get you some new one(s).

the signal will be weak even with all the weight applied. noticeable lack of low end.

if you start noticing more and more distortion in the high end of your records, especially on the end of lp's or 12"-es.
and if they start to gather unreasonable amounts of dust... smile
