So Nice cats are over there!!
I hate cats, except for friendly kitten Fidel living on the rural streets of Kos Island.

LMAOROTF oh my god! wonder how long it takes until you get a cat to do this. or maybe it comes naturally. considering how fucked up some cat minds seem to be...

I'm about to sell my house and move to a new location and I'm very concerned I wont be able find a place that has a safe garden / neighbourhood. I took my cat from a rescue home (he'd come from a family who lived in the country) and he's been living the hi-life for several years in a place that has very few cats and those that do live locally have come to realise that my cat is boss. There's practically no traffic, just the odd car doing 5mph. It's been cat heaven. My worry is that if I have to move into a busy street, thus making him a house cat, he'll go mad and get depressed
I don't want to have to give him up - he's my best buddy.
Hopefully I'll buy a great new place.
Have any R4R folk had to make their outdoor cat into an indoor cat?
Awesome video, like some stalker in a horror movie.

I have the experience twice, but on the other way... indoor cats discovering great spaces, the sea, many other cats & dogs, etc..
The first one didn't went well at the beginning, she was hiding under the stairs for one week, and took month to get outside with confidence... She was already old (14 years old), so it didn't help...
My cousin's cat, 1 year old, made the same move, but he acclimated within 3 days...
how old is your cat ?
@iamelectron We rescued two cats from a shelter that were both street cats. we live on the 8th floor of an apartment and also live in an area that is way too crazy to let them outside. Both adjusted fine to indoor life.
I can't say it's that way for all cats though, but that was our experience. best of luck in moving!
Thanks folks. He's nearly 9 years old. He used to be a BIG fighter. He has one missing fang, a fucked-up claw, very raggy ears and he almost had to have an eye removed in the shelter. He's like a cross between Garfield and Raging Bull. Nowadays he just growls at the local cats and they leave
Saw this today and laughed:
"Ninja cat comes closer while not moving"
