Maybe start with something smaller.
Depends how big your flat is and how much time you spend at home. Otherwise is a bit cruel (just my opinion).

Re: should i buy..

I just meant that it's maybe not so nice for a dog to be stuck inside a flat all day by itself. Probably barking and driving your neighbors crazy smile
If you have a garden or something, it's a different story.

I don't know, maybe there's particular breeds that don't need so much attention or space.

Re: should i buy..

some more things to think of:

dogs can be alot of fun. and alot of work.
want to go away for a couple of days or more.
who will feed the dog? exercise?

and also the dog registration and needles etc they got to get yearly or every 2 years or so.
can get quite expensive..

I have 2 dogs here at home, exercise them daily (take them for a walk)
we live on 2 acres, and they're fenced in.

Re: should i buy..

the flat is a (i think)  normal flat (60 m2), i know  is a lot of work, in Asturias the family have 4 dogs and we know about expenses, but the only different is that there is a big garden.
About take the dog for a walk, i can do it 2 or 3 times every day,  the weekend even more,no problem about it because i like walk with the dog for hours smile
