Topic: METHUSALEM "Journey" counterfeit - how to figure it out?

somebody offered me a nm copy via e-mail...
he is no expert or collector, just a "normal" shop owner.
so is there any chance to ask him some detail to check if its the original or not?

I think the original has not exactly the same bootleg catalog number

my orig. copy has the following stamped in the runout groove (side1): 201335 A1/80S and a little "Made in Germany" in machine letters not handwritten.. dunno if that helps..?

the vinyl l.p. version of this i got turned out to be a (really thin) cd, from ebay seller in russia. smile

Ask him how the label- and sleeveartwork looks. It's quite easy to tell that it's a scan/copy.
The artwork of the bootleg-sleeve: looks more rough, colours are more pale and sleeve is not shiny. Also the label really looks like a scan.
