sweet. i think i can talk him down too he's been tryin to sell it on craigslist for sometime and by the looks of his phone # it seems he lives right around the corner
I got the $200 EX5r yesterday. What an awesome machine. Didn't have a workstation or a sampler so it's a cheap welcome addition.
I found old dx-7 in a closet at my job. it won't start and the problem was on ps i was told. it's quite used looking so what should i pay if i decide to have it? my friend can fix the ps. and if it's totally dead i can have money back.
should i pay more than 50e?
if its the ps itself it could be relatively simple, but there's always a chance the ps going out did other damage..
maybe you can make a deal where yuou pay nothing, and then pay something when you get it to work? dx's are cool, but not worth much..
I'd just wait around til a working one came up in the classifieds for 100-150 Euro.
hmm.. there is an elka EK22 for sale in my area. the guy is asking 280
around half that i would think. i saw one recently for
Anything old seems to be going for crazy money now. It's quite hilarious.

KORG Trident MKII
does it have trigger in or any way to sequence it?
KORG Trident MKII
does it have trigger in or any way to sequence it?
from VSE: Control - CV for filter cutoff, trigger in, 3 expression ins control volume of each section and a total expression for overall volume control
Steer clear of the Trident I or II if you have to pay the prices they ask for it today (like 800 euros its ridicolous)
It can trigger so you will have to hold down the notes yourself, no sequencer, no arpeggiator, no chord memory, very simple limited synthesizer, bad string sounds...only good thing is how it looks and the keyboard plays pretty ok...its probably one of the most beautifull synths ever made to look at
i thought to get it instead of my dying polysix
but without all the important functions (arpeggio, sequencer or chord) it's not worth it. thanks

Yeah man JX3P's are the best, analog with polyphonic step sequencing!!!
you can trigger that sequencer, right?
Yeah I quite fancy one.
