250 would be a great deal, but if it's in good condition I think 350 is more realistic. Although you don't see them for sale often, I think 450 is way too much.
i have to agree with brian.. 300-350, not more.
Yeah 250 would be a great price, but when you think about the Matrix 1000 that's being sold
for 200-300 left and right, the Matrix 6 is likely to go for more...
But you get more synth also; the Matrix 6 has split mode, which allows you to play two patches
at the same time both having their own seperate output.
The Matrix 1000 doesn't have this.
300 is a nice medium price for the rack-version (6r).. But try to do a test if you have the chance, the one I bought had some errors with a instable voice. Seems that some prints can get loose causing problems..

Open it up and pick out the voice chips and put them back in again.
The sockets used to hold the chip are of bad quality and there might be oxide on them. Causing the selected voice to either sound bad or not at all.
I think there's some more info on the net about it..
Disclaimer: I haven't tried it! I've only read about it!
nice idea, except not too many sellers would let you do this to their synth. if it was mine and i didn't know the buyer, i wouldn't..
