How do you guys get your synths in tune.
I have problems with getting synths matching.
Is there like some easy soft or hardwaretool for this stuff, there must be no?
I normally use the chromatic tuner inbuilt in the TC Electronics Konnekt 24D to tune the first synth and then tune the others to that...
edit: you could also use a tone from the test oscillator in Logic, I'm pretty sure you could also find standalone free to download tone generators for PC/Mac...

or insert a tuner on the signal path in logic
thats how i do it.. if you want to tune them non-playing, just use a reference tone from a digital synth. they are usually always in tune. if it's in a track, you'll hear soon enough if a synth is out of tune.. then just retune till it sounds good..

Don't always count on that. I found that the first version of the access virus plugin drifted about and could not be trusted!!! ;-)

I use this tuner on every synth channel in Ableton.
You can use it on the master instead, just make sure to turn off modulation fx sends and such.
i just use a little guitar tuner that has chromatic tuning on it.. and my ears.. if you are having trouble with tuning it might be something else like the scale is off and you synth needs recalibration.. what synths are you talking about?
also.. if you are tuning synths with multiple oscillators, you gotta tune each one seperately and then put them together and tune it again.. i have a hard time tuning the pro one sometimes.. it will only tune if i take the osc out of sync mode.
so maybe let us know what synths you are trying to tune..
Talking about the pro-one, sh-101, tb-303, juno106, ms-10 / ms-20 and others.
Some match fine but Pro-One is tough and also tb-303 and sh-101 dont match the others often.
with the pro one, (first put main tuning at 12 o clock) take the osc sync off and turn only osc a on and tune it.. turn osc b up and match it to a or you can tune it seperately. then if you need a little fine tuning you can use the main tuning thingy..
also.. before you start turn all the weird routings off (lfo and wheel shit).. there is a tuing patch in the manual if you really need it.. i find sometimes if you have the filter not open or whatever the knob is next to it, the tuner cannot detect the pitch..
you may also have a problem with the scaling.. i had to get mine calibrated.. there is a way to do it with a little screwdriver.. but it seemed complicated..
the sh101 should be easy.. just check to see if a "c" is a "c" from one octave to the next.. if this is not possible.. then you may need to get the synth fixed up..
i have no experience with the others..

The Pro-One is not that hard to calibrate, I did mine and it made a noticeable difference in sound.
It's probably even easier if you're not high when you do it.
My Pro-one is actually pretty stable with tuning, I rarely need to adjust it.
keyboard or cv scaling was a problem for me before i could correct that with my expressionist.
I'd tune a synth in a specific range and but it would go out as I moved up or down in pitch.
I almost gave up analog synths at one point because of that, now I know better.
That G-Tune software does the trick. Got the Pro-One, Tb-303 and Sh-101 tuned nicely.

You have to check first if your device witch drives the pitch gives 1 volt/oct or other.
Then you can calibrate the synth itself.
