sold my cs15... waiting for a sh101 in the mail
edit: typo
Sold my 202...waiting for a Pro One in the mail.
Sould my soul waiting for a trance remix in the post
Bought me a Christmas present:
Moog LittlePhatty SE + gig bag + free CP-251 for 1060 euro
..pretty good deal I think
nintendo DS lite (which came bundled with with guitar hero - think I'll sell that) and korg DS-10
it's a nice little music toy. very usable for sketching out simple beats and musical ideas.
very well laid out controls, and very intuitive for just getting things going. And it does a hell of a lot for 2 monosynths and 4 percussion synths with 1 insert effect.. I'm impressed. The only real problem I have with it is the parameters for the drum synth are a bit fiddly for making things like kick drums. all the range i want is in about 5 degrees of movement for the osc envelope knob. bah.
I would love a way to sync this little fella to MIDI clock.
no-fi:
if you find a way to sync it to MIDI, let me know as well
don't think there's much chance..... it's a program running on a processor (well, 2 of them...) and so not really able to be hacked like old hardware is.
Only way to sync it to a daw would be if someone was to write a VST plugin for a daw, that you could load into a project and then that would connect to the DS via wireless networking, and make it think it was jamming along with another DS? no idea how multi DS works, anyway - as I only have one.
this week I got a frostwave resonator... brand new!
I've got one of these bad boys...so good

Apparently there is a program somebody has written which will do midi sync via the bluetooth but its only basic at the moment. I read something about it today but now uselessly I can't find the link again.

This shit looks kinda cool too!
Well the CAT SRM came back, thankfully. Thought I wasn't getting it because the seller never replied to my emails.
Looks perfect. Has all the original knobs as opposed to this one. Hopefully sounds perfect.
Will get to play it tonight.
Also, if you guys go on the Analogue Heaven board, Peter Forrest found a bunch of his A-Z books and I bought a set.
hmm

mmmm. yeah I found some of those, too.
looks like fun.
I really want a cart that will let me use homebrew apps, and wired MIDI port for my DS.
the glitchDS guy is currently doing a really cool looking standalone (PC only for now) step sequencer program. I just got it on alpha release today...
:-)
god dammit! got a used mackie 1642 vlz pro in the mail yesterday - waited so long. but gain on 8, 9/10, 11/12 don't work and 6 & 7 need a "warming time" of 30 to 45 minutes. shit! the seller must be kidding me! where's the mighty rbot geartaskforce who punishes bad sellers?

Some new small toys.
I spy with my little eye something beginning with CURTIS? Do I have to say anything Dennis?
yeah i know CURTIS i am still not a big fan of these chips.
But i wanted to get a nice analogue portable setup witch i can move easy.
Instead off moving some modulars and this is where i am at right now.
I am not complete sure about the evolver yet,
The Adrenalinn is fanatastic!
No the mopho is a pain to edit without a pc Pauli.
I'll stick to the evolver or maybe get rid off that to if i won't fell in love.
Picked up one of these old babies yesterday.

if you say so..
i don't use a pc and it works fine for me, but then again i don't know how much more easy the evolver is.
you're welcome to drop by at my place some time to check it out if you like.
...and then you could bring your sds3 so i could finally check out how cool that one is
