they're not passive-aggressive shit fits. if you can't see my point then don't reply.
I do what I feel like, not what you tell me to do.
Your point is already ventilated here by me and several robots here. Now we're all too stupid to understand your
what are your favourite country tracks?
Not important. Buy some cheap compilation and start from there if you wanna really find the good obscure shit. Country is ace.

Feel the tears of those who bought multiple make-a-quick-buck copies
We have to create a new topic:
I'm soooo Happy "Novamen - LIES is finally REreleased on Vinyl
Now we have to deal with the idot who's going to try and submit it to Discogs as a 're-release'...
seems decks sells their copies very well. started on green level (enough copies) and now it is on yellow
if it go repressed shouldn't clone have copies too? it's the source
but it is friday... and - no idea if it was repressed or decks may found another box. price is the same as it was new...
the artists could tell us more... where is jay or pauli?
i can't tell you more, i dunno
maybe decks clear up the orders that never been paid...i guess they always have a lot.
and it is sold out again.
Toll

Without any doubt, Novamen - Lies is a great tracker!
But I was dissapointed with the vinyl.
I hate this stupid "pling" sound/noise which comes with every "tsscchhh" and which you can only find on the vinyl. -> The pre-release versions on the cbs or myspace didn't have this noise. I don't know if this was intention or a failure. But it annoys me. And I can't unterstand, why this was never discussed here?!?
Until I heard this "pling"-noise in several mixes, I was never sure, if maybe this was only depended on my cheap record player.
I bought my copy directly when Lies was released. I listened to it... one time? !!
For me "Lies" unfortunately remains a track, from which I don't have a really audible version...
Strange....just listened to my copy and its plingless....but maybe my ears and/or stereo are inferieur to yours
yes there certainly is a pling there. We never found out where it came from;
either the guy that did the mastering , the pressing plant , or a combination of both.
Actually i don't even know who did the mastering, but would like to have a listen to the mastered version some time.
There is no pling in the unmastered version for sure.
But on the other hand we do like cowbells, bells or other kind of plings in a snaredrum environment,
so we could just as well have put the pling there during production
But we didn't..
i am getting used to it actually.
the record is good, so good i don't pay attention to any disturbances in the force, if you know what i mean
i think the pling appeared with the pressing, i was once with alden at clone when a frustrated funk just got in which alden had mastered, there was a really hissy hihat in one track that turned into a plinghat the whole song through serge called the plant and they explained some frequencies dont transfer well to vinyl, i'm almost certain this happened with lies too.
i dont mind though, bender i can send you the wav without the pling if you like if it's of any use.
alden should learn to master
How can you master for vinyl not knowing that some frequencies dont transfer good on vinyl? I mean, isnt that the whole point of mastering? Making a track sound good on the medium its gonna be released on. Or does it have something to do with the pressingplant?
are you fucking with me or you didnt get that it didnt change because of mastering but pressing?
anyway what i meant to say was alden send it out hissy like the producer got it to him and when it came from the plant it was plingy.
producer hissy, mastering hissy, record plingy
How can you master for vinyl not knowing that some frequencies dont transfer good on vinyl? I mean, isnt that the whole point of mastering?
I was asking myself the exact same question..
btw i don't think Tyrell had anything to do with Lies... but i could be wrong.
i know one has to eat but I expect the mastering engineer to turn back a bad recording and request a better version.
