Topic: Intel Atom Processors (Asus Eee / Samsumg NC-10 / etc.)

I'm about to invest in one of these machines and just wondering if people have been able to incorporate these into their experiments. More specifically the Samsung one since I like the way it looks and it's powerful enough to run Windows XP on it. I was planning on using Nord Micro Modular editor on it on a sunny day outside or something (boasts an 8 hour battery life).

Anybody?

I should just stop reading the reviews and go with my instincts.
Totally gonna get one then. Thanks!

these look to me as same rip off as mac book air.

Re: Intel Atom Processors (Asus Eee / Samsumg NC-10 / etc.)

but mac book air costs about 1000

Whut, the EEE is cheap as hell!

All the intel atom netbooks run under $500

If you were asking for a netbook with duo core processing then I'd say the eee's were direct ripoffs and probably substantially pricier...
