Topic: I search software that is like....

Hello,
since the internet hardly ever offers precise descriptions on what you can do with certain programs or not, forums are my last help smile
I need
- a vst or whatever software vocoder, that is able to vocode my voice spoken into the mic in realtime. not one where i can only vocode an already recorded one.
I hate classic sequencers like cubase, logic or fruity so thats not an option.
Thanks bots!

Re: I search software that is like....

standard cubase sx3 vocoder maybe, does need midi input.

Re: I search software that is like....

mda makes a free vst talk box but i can't remember if it's real time or not.

does it have to be software? electro harmonix makes a pretty cool voice box pedal for a bit over $200.

Is that one available external from cubase sx? because I hate working with cb and wouldn't consider using it if I dont have to!
Thanks screenvinylimage for the references, the hardware one sounds considerable as well.

oh yeah and with a pr text like that one you can never go wrong:

"Diana Ross had the Supremes, Brian Wilson had the Beach Boys, Kraftwerk had The Robots. You have the Voice Box."

lol
