Topic: CHD Elektroservis TR-808 MIDI interface

Have any of you robots installed the TR-808 MIDI interface from CHD Elektroservis?

Was it difficult or did you encounter any problems?

I'm wondering if it would be too difficult for a soldering novice.  I'm okay with a soldering iron, made a few cables and stuff, but I'm no synth tech or anything like that.  Looking at the install guide it doesn't seem too terrifying.

Should not be too hard if you have a bit experience with soldering. You do need a small iron point for soldering all the wires on the board. Also the right tin and a tin sucker if you drop something.

I like it how they put the led in the start/stop button. Creative thinking.

I am also curious about that mod, it seems one of the mods with the most features. Not too expensive aswell...

BTW those guys have all sort of MIDI /CV gear thats really nice.
