Topic: Just curious, what can Shed be talking about here?

I mean besides the obvious like being thrilled by "club and rave" in the past.

For those that may be more familiar with Shed or the things he is talking about what do you make of his note 'Archived Document'? Like who is this "he" that had a first release that "they" heard, and who joined them and they joined him? A little cryptic, no?

Hmm. Well, that is from his first full-length. He has a good handful of stuff out. I think some of his previous vinyls have his best stuff on there. It's sometimes Housey, sometimes more Techno but definitely with a nod to the Detroit style in my ears. Like the dude has done his research. Has stuff out on Delsin + Styrax Leaves, but most can be found on his Soloaction label.

Shed is heavily supported by Hardwax and all related (Berghain/OstgutTon/etc.), but not without good reason as you can hear.

hmmm i don't really like the stuff I heard on that myspace, that ambient track communicator posted was very cool tho, I hoped that was kind of the style the whole cd would be in.

That breakbeat track on EQD2 is a monster. I like the album on Ostgut too, all of his stuff has a lot of personality and sounds really fresh.

Communicator: the liner notes say that the spoken words on that track are "Taken from the Archive Document MAY-0210880502001630" and are spoken by a certain BH.
