metallic gold vinyl in excellent condition, surface noise as on all gold vinyl copies (even mint ones).

some told me that there are existing a few very very scarce golden copies WITHOUT surface noise.

good luck finding one of those. they must be slightly different from the normal gold copies then: thicker vinyl, maybe less "metallic" particles...

anyways, i will post a recording of both sides here as soon as possible. one side has less surface noise than the other but still has a little bit of that fireplace romance.

the guy who told me this was the guy from which i bought my golden copy. his mission was to find one of those clean golden copies - he bought every golden copy he could get

here's the vocal and the instrumental which i just recorded through my less than stellar sound system. gives you an idea. the fireplace romance is, of course, mostly audible in the quieter parts.

but, IMHO this does not diminish the dancefloor quality of this super release. it just happened that i was lucky to get ahold of a black vinyl copy so i don't need the gold one anymore.

It reminds me my holy grail mission: find one copy of Drexcyia - Aquatic Invasion with no click on Sighting the Abyss track: I bought and sent back 3 copies for the moment (first and second pressing)... But it seems an easyiest mission than this one...

i once found a scarce punk 7" on the fleemarket: KAAOS / GADGERS spilt EP (finnland hc)
1st pressing
handnumbered

i offered it on ebay and got more than 400 USD for it.
a japanese collector told me that there are only 200 copies around - and that he wants to have all!!!!
he told me that meanwhile he already had 74 copies ...

i hate soccer

Interesting! Would definetely buy it on a fleamarket for a low price but wouldn't spend crazy collector prices for it. That Finnish hardcore stuff can be really great though. Represses are fine with me.

If I had the KAAOS 7", I'd hold on to it until that Japanese guy had 199 copies.
Then I would consider perhaps discussing a deal with him smile

I gotta go home and double check the sound quality of my golden Some Bizarre.
As far as I remember it sounds pretty decent, but I remember it's sometimes a bit tricky to cue it up, tends to skip in the beginning if you aren't careful when mixing.

hm, what is so special concerning this SOME BIZARRE in gold vinyl?
the sound is dully ...with or without surface noises.
colored vinyls are only nice for the collection.
i am happy with my SOME BIZARRE in standard black vinyl.
finally its better sound and the black pressing is also not so easy to find. smile
(same for JoJo, LATF, Thanya...)

yes, probably its real collectors madness...haha
