Topic: Stratosferic Band - Splash... LP on Voom Voom for trade

I've got an extra copy of the Stratosferic Band - Splash... LP available for trade.  This is the real deal on Voom Voom with the SIAE stamp on one of the labels:

The record is in VG condition with a slight dish warp and some fingerprints, but no bad scratches - it really sounds fantastic.  The original picture sleeve is VG+, with some light wear and three small stickers on the back which I didn't even notice when I first got it.

Stratosferic Band - Splashdown 12"
Methusalem - Journey Into The Unknown LP (orig, no bootlegs)
Empire - First Album LP
Alex Cima - Cosmic Connection LP
Voyagers - Distant Planet 12"

is the Stratosferic Band - Splashdown 12" on voomvoom that valuable to be put in a league with methusalem/empire/etc..?
have that laying around here too (edit: the splashdown), but never conisdered it as "rare" or anything.. can't even remeber how much it cost so can't have been that much

No, I wouldn't say the Splashdown 12" is as valuable as the Splash LP, or the Methusalem/Empire LPs - I'd say it's the least valuable of everything I listed.  I've wanted it for a while, so I thought I'd put it on there as a way to start a discussion about a trade.

In any case, if you're willing to trade/sell it, let me know, maybe we can work out an exchange for a different record (or cash).

Haha, no problem at all.  I figured you'd probably get a bunch of msgs about that 12", it's great stuff - play it loud!!

i do smile i play it quite often in the last time when djing (and also at home of course) after it rested in the shelf for a while.
funny, cause i really can't remeber where i bought it nor that that it cost much or anything, must have been some 2nd hand/fleamarket find. but a good one it seems, apart from me liking it personally.
reminds me a bit of magic fly..

SPLASHDOWN is a nice track - there were many in that style in this old days ...
but i prefer at the end MAGIC FLY or LASER
