Virgin Prunes 2x10" Box

this one used to be so huge when it came out(well one of them 10" was. the live one was no good, I had much better
bootleg tapes from their live shows)
anyhow I was thinking about them a couple of weeks ago while reading a big article about U2 religious messages in
their songs lyrics, financial affairs etc etc, how back in 1980 these were the 2 interesting big names comin from
Dublin Ireland, and I personally think that at their less avant garde moments (If I Die I Die) the prunes had potential
to make it real big (if only they had Virgin behind them instead of Rough Trade - might have been a different story)

Hanging around Sydney for a week checking every thrift/dingy record shop, and attending 2 (disappointing) record
Fairs. Got home with 92 records (mind u, nearly 25 are doubles/trades) here

- That Amanda Lear  on Siamese has a very extensive break. Very different from the single.
- Got that Sesame Street in dutch so then Cookie is "Verloor M'n Koekie In De Disco" (Lost My Cookie In The Disco) smile
- I'm searching very long for that ORS for a reasonable price. 40$ seems o.k. Is it on original label? It has a different sleeve on Ariola then on Salsoul.
- La Planere Sauvage. I love the clip of this I saw on youtube.

indeed that Amanda Lear is where Anthony Monn first started to practice for Magnifique
the Sesame St rekid must have been pressed in every country that was showing the tv show, gettin the 12"
is much harder tho, I kind of sorry I did not buy that reisue from a few years ago. even that is not cheap nowdays.
my ors is on Salsoul (Anthony Monn again smile ) and I have seen it goes for twice what I paid.
La Planere Sauvage early science fiction animation, I've seen it 30 years ago, but I remember it left a big impression on me. the music is kind of jazz/funk with a primitive sci fi twist. really soothing listening stuff
but I only skiped thru it once
stoped at the shops to see what I missed while away and picked
Kusumi - Surgery  Ladomat w nice mnml D Bell remix
