Topic: ron murphy interview

i really enjoyed listening to this interview of the late great ron murphy's personal stories about cutting records in detroit, his devotion for vinyl and passion for personalization of the process...  its also pretty cool to listen to all the tracks being played in the background and in the breaks,  especially the hauntingly beautiful carl craig 'wrap me in its arms' as one of his favorite "bizarre" tracks.  thought some of you would like to give it a listen !

nice one, listening now, thx!

Re: ron murphy interview

Ron is on the money when he talks about the market. The story about giving kids a dollar and ask them if they would buy a certain record he would play them or would they rather buy a hamburger is great. Or the story about the Beatles knowing that techno saved the vinyl industry.

Still get's me sad he's gone. I wonder what have happened to his Scully. Now that's a machine with a legacy.

ppl may think i act like a pig, but in the end i look cute !
