Topic: Midi Progam Change

Hi all

I'm trying to alternate between patches on my Boss SE-70 using midi and although when setting up the change on my midi keyboard the patch does indeed change I cannot get it to work in the song, when I reset to the initial patch nothing happens.

Any ideas??

are you on the right midi channel in your sequencer?

not filtering out program changes or other non-note commands? easy to do that in cubase. can you see the actual program change message in the sequencer?

Hi Rude, not sure if I'm doing that to be honest. I'm using an old copy of Logic (4.7) on a Mac. What should I be looking for, is it similar to midi information such as  volume fades etc?

Ok, sorted it. Don't ask me how, a combination of blind luck and random fiddling. I had to leave the midi select button pressed on  until I'd recorded the change. Thanks for your help Mr 66.
