i know that ROBOT IS SYSTEMATIC on 7inch...
well, its not sooooo interesting...
same running time as 12" format, no other version, not a "real" good pic.sleeve..
and the price is too high...imo...
i like 7inches which were never released on 12" or contain different versions or
show us a nice pic.sleeve (like Diana Est, Jock Hattle, Lisa Mancini, Kevin Johnson for example)
my personal point of view is: never pay too much for a 7"...! ok, there are a few exceptions (like Bruno Mosti),
but its not the same "collector-market" as we have with our beloved 12"Maxi Singles...(i only speak for italo-disco)..
all my 7inches i got pretty cheap....but the high prices/value of many 12"Vinyls never changed since i collect italo..
sometimes its a crying game...;)
another point is: this little "7inch-mania" is new anyway...in the past nobody cared about this
vinyl-format in the italo-scene...really nobody....hehe

Same runningtime as 12" seems interesting. But it's expensive..hmmm Still haven't got the original. If I have to spend money on it better get the 12" then

Yes, the ones not released on 12" are most interesting like Alex Valentini, Buckingham Palace and that Bruno Mosti. Funny thing is when they get picked up by collectors/DJs they get a repress on 12" anyhow (think of Moustache, Iventi).

Reasons for this may vary I think. It could be interesting for hardcore collectors who already have everything and want something "new" or newbies who can't afford the 12inches and find the 7inches a cheap way of collecting. So now it's a matter of time before these 7inches become "rare" too maybe.

of the important 12"inches. just wonder that they did not start to collect 7inches a bit earlier..
do you know what i mean? hehe. most of the freaks started at the same time...within the last 1-2 years.
crazy. but uffff.....i blame myself!!!..hahahaha
or could it be some of the minimal synth collectors entered the italo domain..? thinking of the amin peck 7"
