Just wondering what people are thinking of this release?

Really loving it here, such a varied and comprehensive mix of music.
Only qualm being it's a CD only release.
Other than that really exciting stuff.

heard about it from gabbo. he played one song in his show today. sounded good. but yes, it is just a CD. a shame, because it`s a dying format wink

But really a great display of this unknown 80s norge synth scene.. Really like this release cool

Best release of 2009 so far!
First one was intended to be an encompassing retrospective of norwegian synthpop / wave, for a broad audience to put the norwegian scene on the map. CD is the best format for this according to mr. Hommage and I agree. Next releases will be more focussed (tape reissues, unreleased stuff etc.) on vinyl, so watch out!

in LP u should do a 3x or even 4x...we r talking of 41 tracks..

great release, all the copies we took were sold out in pre order, anyway is already reissued and available again !!

i prefer the second cd to the first, btw

yeah first issue was sold out so quickly because the norwegian government bought up more than half the stock. Every library from oslo to the russian border will have (already has?) this compilation in it's posession big_smile 
Also some mainstream norwegian distro bought up a lot of copies so not much went to the primary more international audience...

really liking this one aswell. i had no idea our scandinavian neighbours had so many synth pearls lying around. looking forward to some vinyls from hommage!

yes hommage is the reissue label to watch atm. the tracks that have been up on the myspace player have been consistently amazing as well - and not a single track there was also on the comp!
