thats not cheap (and has s stupid name) but i had some metasonix modules for a synth here for a while some years ago, and that stuff sounds like nothing else.. i had a tube based oscillator, filter and i think a modulator and man oh man..anythiung from very sweet sounding 70's synths to the most insane sounds you ever heard..

I think only 20 scotum smasher were build or something.
It's really kickass imho and the price is not that stupid.
I think the last one went for 750 - 800 i think.

i don't need the gear, the gear needs me
