i know about all 5 boxes 150, 201, 301, 501, 555
so if you have to decide wich one you would have of all this wich one would be your favorite and why 
Of the one I've used, the 501/555 would be my favorite. Balanced or unbalanced I/O, fun sound on sound mode, the chorus is pretty nice, and the knobs are classy. Has a cool Knight Rider VU display too.
If I had to choice I'd go with the Sre-555.
It sounds great and looks cool, same innards as the 501 for more money though.
The Re-201 has the reputation of sounding the best.

I recently got a Korg Stage Echo Se-500 and like it a lot, nice sound, quiet and solid construction.
i have this ,googled a bit and it seems like a very difficult to find device
mine is in green instead of blue
found it together with an sennheiser headphone and a compressor/limiter all put together in the recyclebin at our local gargagebelt
501/555 is awesome and the price of the 501 has come down to basically the same as 201. And IMHO it is way better.
I can only speak for the 201 I've had for awhile. Still love it to pieces! Need to replace my tape though...

looking about, apparently there's also an RE-100... I've never ever seen a 100 or a 200 anywhere.
that said, being that the RE-100 and RE-200 were replaced by the 101 and 201 for reliability reasons, if you do ever see them for sale, they're probably not the ones to go for.

multivox tape echo, nice and similar to roland's but usually cheaper if you can find one
