memories...although I only had the last two
I used to have a bunch of the game and watch. also a snes. street fighter II turbo. doesnt get much better.
Indeed legendary machines...
And probably one of my all time favourite games (with Wonderboy 3 on Sega MasterSystem) : Zelda 3 - A link to the past
Link to the Past is awesome, most legendary and defining game of the snes for sure. I think my 2nd favorite is Super Mario World. Even today it excels in gameplay, graphics and music, only game that came as close is probably Super Mario Galaxy... but only close.
Chrono Tiger, Final Fantasy III and II, Secret of Mana, Street Fighter 2 Turbo Hyper Figting, Yoshi's Island, Mario Kart... I still have my snes hooked up to my tv... I'm eager to play Super Mario rpg, supposedly it's really good but it wasn't released on pal systems until last year, for the virtual console...
How about the gamecube? I loved Windwaker! I hope they'll release a decent Zelda again soon cause Twilight Princess wasn't all that...

I lived in Super Mario World rather than the real one for a few years I think!! what a game (and those bastard bits with the lava!! )
and completely with you about the gamecube, mine's still plugged into the TV - rather over-looked with all the Playstation hype but a great machine with some great games...
also enjoying DS Lite at the moment, especially KORG DS-LITE - virtual MS-10's a-go-go
I just got my Nintendo 64 out of mothballs last week. Golden Eye, Zelda, Perfect Dark, Jet Pack Gemini, Starfox, Turok, Shadows of the empire, Rough Squadron and Super Mario 64 are all back on the menu again... Yeah! ( I was downloading some for the Wii but what's the point when I have the console)
Also Found I had bought the Expansion pack too.. deadly!
i bought a nintendo 64 on a flea market and been enjoying mario 64 a lot, but i'm having a very hard time finding cartridges for it
my bro still has those old electronic games (the ones with LCD screen), mario bros and donkey kong
Yeah, it's hard to find cartridges. That's why I was so happy with the virtual console on the Wii (made me actually decide to get one). Fleamarkets remain the best option, even though they can be very expensive, especially when you deal with a trader. For the snes, you pay 20 to 25 euro for a title like Mario or Zelda, most other titles are about 10 to 15 euro. Hmyeah, nostalgia comes at a price...
goldeneye was the shizzle when it came out. Was pretty disappointed though when we pulled it out a few years ago to play a good 4player match again - the movement is so lame and just turning around takes aaages.
Mariokart was, is and will be always the best multiplayer game ever - both n64 and snes!
Heh quite luck in The UK. I was in a store the other day that was selling the 64 carts at 3 for

I spent most of the late 90's playing the N64. It replaced my Amiga 500/1200 addiction.
Turok was fucking amazing, despite the fact that it was impossible to see beyond about 2 feet in front of yourself from the fog which was covering up the graphical limitations. I think that just added to the shit your pants atmosphere in that game. It was seriously dark and gripping.
I remember one christmas me and arabot played the Zelda game incessantly which kind of made the festive season a bit of a shite family affair.
I loved goldeneye (RCP 90's were boss) but never really got into perfect dark as my interest in the console had faded by that point.
And for some reason I was right into those kiddy themed 'Rare' games such as Banjo Kazooie and Diddy Kong Racing.
And of course International Superstar Soccer and its fucking shocking inuendo like and out of sync commentary. But I loved it.
Thank fuck I don't play computer games anymore, I'd never have any time for anything else.
