I watched Paris Is Burning this weekend. I had never seen it. Superb documentary that tells the story of an extraordinary culture. Definitely a must watch.
I also watched Shadowplayers, about Factory Records and the late 70's Manchester scene. It's good becuase of the history it tells, but the movie itself is kinda boring.

Nice slasher sci-fi B movie, 1987 
Simon Says - well it's a particularly gory slasher with some really inventive deaths, and it has Crispin Glover in it, who I can watch in anything, but you know, it was crap. Recommended!
The Godfathers Of Mondo - Doc about the people who did Mondo Cane. Although the subjects of the film seemed to have good intentions, the overall exploitative nature of those films was not really explored. Nice interview with Riz Ortolani though.
Dexter - season 2 ... my favourite butcher!
I hope season 3 and 4 won't milk this cow to death..

i actually find about the movie after i heard the soundtrack, i need to watch i again as well.
started watching Don't Mess with the Zohan but it was too stupid so i skipped it
i don't get this kind of comedies

I finally got round to watching the watchmen last night
A long film at 2hours 42mins but it didnt feel like it. I expected a lot more action but I didnt care in the end as the story between the acting was well played out if maybe a little fast paced, but I suppose if your trying to fit as much of the watchmen into a film as possible then thats what you gotta do. I wouldve prefered to have seen a few 2 or 3 hour epics (LOTR style) but I still thoroughly enjoyed what I saw. The action sequences were nicely shot aswell. The only major gripe Ive got is the change in the ending. Im not gonna go into details but for fuck sake. stick to the book.

any walk outs? There was about 4 when I went to see it...
I really don't see what all the hoo ha was about this movie, especially everyone ranting on and on about the clit scene as if it's something too shocking to fathom. It was a fascinating, dark, intense and beautifully complex piece of work that leaves it up to the viewer to take from it what they will.
went to see it on a Wednesday 2 for 1 night. was surrounded by chumps scoffing Doritos and popcorn and other crunchy snacks talking about how shit it was. kind of ruined it a bit for me.

was not bad.
