I'm having a go at pop music, so it's a song, with words and junk.

I think it might be a love song. I'm not quite sure. I was trying to sound like Scott Walker, apparently it came out like Bryan Ferry. That I laughed about. It's OK to laugh at it.

I like the instrumentation and the melody but the drums are too loud in the mix and the vocals too low.

Cheers. I was wondering that myself.

The instinct I have is to mix the vocals low because of self consciousness. I'll give it another whirl.
