@noctambulo you can make a lemon meringue martini, i knew i had used that stuff before.

theres a few different recipies online, with this i would replace that Licor 43, never heard of that, with vanilla vodka.
i made some yrs ago kind of the same, tasted damn goood.

Best Tequila for me is Oro Azul, so smooth that adding the salt and lime only dilutes the flavor and experience of it. Take it from me, my parents are from Mexico. Cuervo is shit, hangover city. That Patron is OK but not as nice as Oro Azul. Don Julio is slightly better for me than Patron.

There are of course 3 types of Tequila: (in order of refinedness) A

Do it your way, because everyone else is just weird.

i tried it last weekend at l'osteria del poeti and since then i can't wait to get my hands on a bottle

my favourite;

batida de maracuja

Ingredients :
- 3/4 oz cachaca
- 2 oz apple juice
- 1/4 oz lime syrup
- 1 dash lime juice
- 1 passion-fruit chunk

batdia de coco with pineapple juice and cherry sirup, flavoured with some wodka. Or those freaking pina colada slush puppies they served at NoiZes' festival. Ordinary mojitos of caipirinha does bring the bot in action too.

I'm going to an all-inclusive cuban resort (Sandals) for my honeymoon so I'll have almost seven days to sample many many mixes. I'm guessing the best thing to stick with would be Mojitos.

I'll probably try these as well:

Rum and Coconut Water
2 ounces amber rum
4 ounces chilled coconut water
Fill a highball glass with ice. Add rum, top with coconut water. Insert straw. Relax.

Papa Dobles (Hemingway Daiquiri)
4 oz. White Rum
2 oz. Lime juice
1 oz. Grapefruit juice
1/4 oz. Maraschino liqueur
Blend with 3/4 cup of crushed ice


I'm usually a Gin and Tonic type guy so this will be a pretty wild detour.
