Re: discogs increasing fees.. greedy motherfuckers

are they the actual sellers of this SDS3 clone? then I hope the machine isn't as dodgy as their website..

Re: discogs increasing fees.. greedy motherfuckers

analogue solutions are the distributers. it's being put together by mode machines who have also done a 303 clone who also have a fairchild comp. clone in the works.

price is going to be around €1500 for the SDS.

Re: discogs increasing fees.. greedy motherfuckers

1500 is quite a lot.. Also functionality is pretty different (hard to see on the pic) so don't understand why they call it a Simmons sds-3 clone. I hope Dave Simmons was asked for permission or gets the credits he deserves. You already found any samples/audio-examples? Some time ago I saw on another forum a planned SDS3 clone DIY project but without LFO so thats pretty useless I guess..

hi-res version: http://www.modemachines.com/z/a/0/10/10701.jpg

It's been announced for over a year now so one can only speculate as to why it costs so much without seeing that all important rear panel. I expect full midi implementation alongside cv. No audio yet that i'm aware of. LFO and authentic filters seem to be evident. Only demo will tell.

Re: discogs increasing fees.. greedy motherfuckers

thanks for the hi-res.. looks like it has more controls only the run-generator is missing (use it quite a lot) Maybe the CV can be used for pitch, would be a nice feature. Curious about the midi, I like to use audio triggers because of the variable response..
