Re: Reaktor the aphex twin and squarepusher tool second wikipedia info.

Does anybody have a crack for Reaktor (or a similar prog for mixing wav's)?
I have tons of old home-made acid-tracks laying around and tought it might be a good idea to put them all together in a mix...

(btw: are there any open-source mixing progs around?)

Reaktor isn't really the best thing for mixing wav's.  are you confusing it with Traktor?

I don't like seeing crack talk on here, go on google if you have to do that.

I think It's disrespectful to people who write code for a living.

Re: Reaktor the aphex twin and squarepusher tool second wikipedia info.

a quick search reveals www.mixxx.org

looks quite smart.  however if your acid tracks are on the dirty lofi tip, you could just do a bit of record/pause button tape mixing for authenticity. and a lot more pleasant than dealing with dodgy copies

yes they are pretty dirty and low-fi, but what do you mean with 'just do a bit of record/pause button tape mixing for authenticity'?...

cheers!

Re: Reaktor the aphex twin and squarepusher tool second wikipedia info.

Re: Reaktor the aphex twin and squarepusher tool second wikipedia info.

@ Freek , I don't consider mixes as piracy, obviuosly.

I'm not even judging you or anything, I'm just saying this is not a warez forum.

I know, but I'm just as much an opportunist as against piracy wink

I've tried the 'Mixxx' program but I didn't figured it out yet, feels like I have to learn mixing tracks again smile

does anyone know if is there a way to auto-cue tracks, so I dont have to do the whole mix on the fly but pre-mix the tracks instead?
