Topic: Roland MD8 110V -> Roland MD8 220V

I'm curious...
If I replace blue cable from 120V pin to 220V pin it will work?:)
Black and white cables are connected with power cable and 'AC IN' pins on PCB.
Blue cable is connected with 'AC OUT' and that voltage pin.

It can't be so easy.

i believe it is that easy!
but you need to half the fuse tolerance.

but maybe you should get rudes input first smile

Re: Roland MD8 110V -> Roland MD8 220V

yes probably. You'll have to change the fuse as said. Why not get a simple transformer? No soldering and fuse changing,easy to come by, the interface stays original and you can use it for other machines too?
