Wow that's really cool Subk. Which school are you at in NYC? We should do an exchange program, we get some pretty interesting people in at our school too. Laurie Anderson is very exciting.

yesterday i've recieved a dvd with some old recordings from myself ( video 8 )
those video's were made between 1972 and 1977 ( hippies )
amazing stuff when i was a kid, and those lovely 70 ties colours.. great

I go to NYU and am in this interdisciplinary electronics program that throws artists and techies in the same place to build projects for 2 years, it is great!  smile   What about you?  There are possibilities to earn credit in the summer via traveling....

^ my grandfather was kind of a freak ( so it's runs in the family )
collecting model fighters, even the ones that go up in the air, BMW's and Hammond organs
made lots of footage back then, it seems i had a good bound with the dog wink
My grandfather even named his boat after me.. haha never knew this

@subk: I'm doing a bachelor of production (sound design), so I work within theatre, dance, music & film. It doesn't really start to get technical until next semester though..they offer post grad & masters in sound. There's a girl doing post grad that I want to do a placement with, she's doing something with Wii controllers as an interface that sounds interesting.

Music is a beautiful opiate, if you don't take it too seriously.

beautiful!   a wii controller is a cool little batch of sensors at one's disposal.  its too often that artists become so satisfied with making a novel interface that the output (the sound, music) isn't quite as satisfying, so its great you're jumping on board.  (not to say this person in particular is like the rest...)  i'd love to hear how it progresses.  don't resist any temptations to visit new york one of these days smile 


back on topic:  happy because i'm moving to my own place again after a year of living with tolerable but really not very cool roommates !!!  my own cabinets.  my own refrigerator.  no more wack music emanating from next door to my bedroom.  this will have me beaming for months.
